Bracknell is a large thriving town which was designated as a new town in 1948 after the second world war.

The area has been under continual expansion especially new housing,

Binfield and Warfield were built within the last 20 years and Bracknell now has two new developments, Jennetts Park and The Parks.

The town centre built in the 60’s has been earmarked for re-generation but some plans have been shelved due to the recession however a brand new waitrose was built in 2011, and work is to start on a new complex incorporating a cinema and restaurants, a new police station, a bus station and 1000 new homes.

The town has two railway stations and there is easy access to the M3 & M4 motorway via the A329(M)

The area is ideal for families as the town has a large leisure centre, + the coral reef water park, and for golf lovers the Downside Golf Club has excellent facilities, also the John Nike Leasuresport Complex is amazing which incorporates a dry ski slope and ice ring.

The town has also been the setting of many TV shows and films the most famous of which being Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone which was filmed in the Martins Heron part of Bracknell.

The area does however suffer from limescale and Kevin Goody (UK Water Softeners) has been looking after the residents of Bracknell for over 19 years and has over 4500 customers locally.

He recommends the TwinTec S3 Water Softener (manufactured by Harvey Water Softeners (est 35 years) unlike other softeners the TwinTec S3 is twin-cylinder, non electric, its small and has block salt, (so no heavy 25kg bags of salt to hump around)

If you would like to know more about the benefits of installing a water softener in your home, contact Kevin Goody on 01276 27924 or complete one of the on-forms for more information.

What Our Customer Say…

‘I am writing to say how pleased we are with the purchase of the TwinTec S3 softener.
It has already made such a difference with showering and the general appearance of lime scale around sinks etc.  Plus we have also been able to reduce the amount of washing powder we use and the salt in the dishwasher.  So it is good to substantiate the benefits of a water softener.
The installation itself went very smoothly and the space lost by the softener is minimal and we would never had known the plumber had been as he left no mess at all…very impressed.
So thanks again for such an excellent service which is so refreshing in these times where we sadly have to succumb to such lower standards.’
Mr Gibbins, Bracknell, November 2012

“I couldn’t believe how hard the water was here after moving to the area, the amount of products that I needed just to keep things clean, washing powder etc’ that we were getting through was ridiculous, and nasty tasting tea. I then spoke to Kevin and made an appointment to view one of his softeners, and in no time we had arranged the installation without any high pressure sales talk, it was obvious this was the solution we needed, and what a huge difference this has made, clean bathrooms, less washing powder and shampoo, no harsh cleaning products, very economical to run as there is no electrical connection, and the installation was done quickly and very professionally with no mess, and with no scale in the kettle that means a great tasting cup of tea once again! I can’t recommend the product or the company highly enough. I don’t understand why these water softeners are not fitted as standard to all properties, why put up with hard water when you don’t have to?”

Tony, Harmans Water, Bracknell, July 2011

What fantastic service! From looking at your advert in the local paper, to having our water softerner installed – 5 days – and 2 of those were the weekend. We could not be more pleased with the end result either. Having a particularly awkward located stop cock, Kevin put us at ease with regard to location and the plumber came up trumps with no mess, no fuss and everything nice and tidy. I would certainly recommend Kevin and his Company to anyone who is in two minds about a water softerner. Great product, great service and lots and lots of lovely bubbles in my evening bath!
